High speed Internet access (also known as Broadband), allows users to access the Internet and Internet-related services at significantly higher speeds than those available through “dial-up” service. One such service is Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), an alternative to traditional voice telephone service.

High-speed Internet also gives you access to other Internet services like music, TV, and gaming. Many of these current and newly developing services require the transfer of large amounts of data and typically is not technically feasible with dial-up service.
